Long gone are the days SLP works solo. The imagery I create for you is most powerful and attention worthy when my team—not just me individually—operates as your creative partner. Each of us brings a unique perspective, skill set, and (most importantly) high-quality character that when combined makes SLP a power house backing your brand. My team and I have shot countless sessions together; our collaborative nature is palpable.
I am very picky about who joins SLP. You can be sure each of my team members brings a sense of hospitality, service-mindedness, and light-hearted energy to the session. We exist to make much of YOU, not ourselves. (We also really do love each other and apologize in advance for how much we laugh together.)
Sarah Linden, Lead Photographer and Creative director
Even more than creating great imagery, Sarah wants SLP to be a place where both her clients and team members feel a sense of belonging and purpose. Sarah believes that while talent is important, it only gets you in the door. Amazing businesses and creatives are made possible by their humility, community mindset, and vulnerability. At our sessions you will know Sarah is happy when you hear her say, “It’s happening!” What’s happening exactly? Everything! The composition, the session, your portfolio, and the creative lives our younger selves had only dreamed would come true.
Sarah’s lives for a 5AM wake up time, and she shows her love for others by buying them coffee. Seriously. You should see her expense reports.
Tanner Garza, lighting tech and second shooter
Most would call Tanner’s role on set “assistant.” But really, he’s so much more. While he does set up Sarah’s gear for each shot, he also acts as her second brain. He sees photography through a different lens and offers ideas that have truly pushed SLP to new levels. While some people are hesitant to try new things, Tanner loves suggesting techniques that push creative boundaries. Your portfolio is better for it. From time to time, Tanner will also shoot BTS or detailed shots at our session.
Tanner is possibly the most open-minded person you will ever meet, he brings a sense of humor that often leaves Sarah cry laughing, and he is a true artist at heart. Next time you’re with him, ask to see his leg tattoos. STUNNING.
Sarah Burke, stylist and storyteller
If your project has a story (and it does), Sarah’s superpower is bringing that story to life. Her careful selection of accessories and ability to balance a composition with every object in the frame is next level. Sarah B makes session days lighter for you—no more lugging stuff in your car, no more brainstorming styling ideas, no more delivering what might be the correct florals. Sarah does it for you. (BTW, she’s a former florist.)
Sarah is a sheer delight to be around. She is the poster child of what it means to be kind. And she’s really tall. If you hear me holler “Sarah B?!” from the other room, it’s likely because my 5’5 reach just can’t do it.
